Norman Wong

Senior Associate, Climate

Norman Wong is a Senior Associate, Climate at HXE Partners. He brings over 15 years of expertise from both the public and private sectors in greenhouse gas (GHG) accounting, verification, corporate sustainability, and environmental compliance.

Prior to joining HXE Partners, Norman was a Principal Engineer at BART, a public transit operator in the Bay Area. At BART, he oversaw developing and implementing organizational sustainability strategies, including the formalization of BART’s sustainability program and the monitoring of environmental performance metrics such as GHG, energy, water, and waste. Norman also worked at Locus Technologies as a consultant in environmental compliance and was a lead verifier for client GHG inventories reported under California’s mandatory GHG reporting regulation.

Norman holds a M.S. Environmental Engineering and Science from Stanford University and a B.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley. Norman holds a Professional Engineer license in the state of California.
